I charged the old battery up the night before and it was showing 102 km on the dash (Guess-O-Meter) and 70 km on my custom range estimator.

Then I drove up and down a local hill to bring the State Of Charge down to 53%. When leaving a lithium ion battery in storage it's best to be around 50%. (Shipping freight rules often stipulate 50-40%.)

Then we began the long stressful task of learning how to lift a car with tools I was unfamiliar with on a gravel driveway.
