The new battery arrives

Basil was a bit suspicious about the new arrival.

Once unwrapped I could see a layer of dust over the top. The HV Disconnect plug is in the cardboard box. It was a little disconcerting that all the sockets were left uncovered. I'd prefer to keep dust/bugs/water out of the Disconnect socket.

I 3D printed some simple covers for all the sockets and cleaned it. Cleaning was useful as it helped me notice the shmushed tab on the front left side. So I bent that back into form.

I'll inspect the bottom of the battery once I have it screwed into the car.

Here's the LeafSpy report provided by the seller. Note the high number of Quick Charges. That suggests the original Japanese owner did not have a slow charger at home - which is common. I'm betting (it cost me NZ$2800) that the cells are still in good condition nonetheless.
